As you make your way down the sweeping driveway, you will be greeted with the view of the impressive Grade II listed country house. Mountains offers a beautiful vintage setting for weddings and is a photographer’s paradise with so many beautiful areas to photograph including the house, grounds and formidable mature Redwood trees. Mountains offer a flexible choice for your weddings.
Smaller wedding receptions can be held in the main house where the oak panelled hallway is the perfect setting for receiving guests before enjoying pre-reception drinks in the Clarke Somers room along with the attractive conservatory and sun catching terrace. You could marry in the open air under the attractive oak framed gazebo, this area can accommodate up to 120 guests. Or you may be suited to The Hall with its Victorian decor which can accommodate up to 75 guests for a smaller more intimate ceremony.
The permanent marquee at Mountains is a fully-lined, all-weather luxurious marquee. It is ideal for a classic summer or winter wedding. Partitioning inside the marquee makes the internal space suitable for both smaller and larger parties of up to 240 guests for a sit down reception. The marquee is complete with a carpeted wooden floor, bar, toilets and dance area. If you have a vision in mind, then the venue is perfect for its flexibility and approachable ethos.
